Terms of Reference
15.7.6 The International Measurers Sub-committee shall:
(a) recommend the appointment of International Measurers (IM’s) in accordance with Regulation 35;
(b) communicate, with the help of the ISAF Chief Measurer, with IM's and MNA’s, which includes addressing questions from IM's and disseminating any other relevant information;
(c) conduct with the relevant Classes the seminars required as part of the qualification of an International Measurer;
(d) recommend to the Race Officials Committee policies regarding the conduct of seminars;
(e) update ISAF documents, such as the Championship Equipment Inspection Report Form and the IM Application Form;
(f) propose rule changes and submit interpretations of the Racing Rules of Sailing to the Racing Rules Committee;
(g) propose rule changes and submit interpretations of the Equipment Rules of Sailing to the Equipment Control Sub-committee;
(h) deal with such matters as other ISAF Committees may request;
(i) develop a procedure for the grouping and classification of International Measurers according to their abilities and to place them in groups based on agreed criteria.
