Sailor Classifications expire, generally after two years (please note however, that your ISAF Sailor ID will never expire). Follow the instructions on this page to renew your Sailor Classification.
When Does My Classification Expire?
You can check the expiry date of your Classification by searching for yourself using the 'SEARCH FOR A SAILOR' bar above or on our Sailor Search page here.
Shortly before your Classification expires you should receive an email with details on how to renew your Classification. These instructions are also repeated below.
How To Renew Your Classification
Follow the instructions below to renew your Classification.
Step 1 - Login to ISAF Sailor using your ISAF Sailor ID and Password at the top of this page.
If you've forgotten your ISAF Sailor ID find it by searching for yourself using the 'SEARCH FOR A SAILOR' bar above or on our Sailor Search page here.
If you've forgotten your password click here to get it resent to your email address.
*** PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to reset your password if you use a different email address to the one that is registered with ISAF. You will not be able to reset your password using the online system unless you have updated the 'Secret Question' fields of the 'Update Your Details' section of the Classification database. ***
*** Please contact the ISAF Office if you can not reset your own password so that the ISAF Secretariat can reset your password for you. ***
*** If you are trying to renew your Classification it is essential that you do not create a new ISAF Sailor ID. You must contact the ISAF Office so that the ISAF Secretariat can help you with the Classification process. ***
Step 2 - After logging in, click on 'Click here to go to Classification area' to go to the Sailor Classification area.
Step 3 - On the left hand menu select 'Request New Classification'. Complete the forms and answer the questions to submit your Application for a Sailor Classification.
