World Sailing Committees, Sub Committees, Commissions, Forums & Working Parties

World Sailing Committees are appointed by the World Sailing Council under the terms of Article 63. The terms of reference are detailed under World Sailing Regulations, Part III - Committees.

The Executive Committee members are elected at the World Sailing General Assembly held every four years in the same year as the Olympic Games.

Council members, appointed by World Sailing Member National Authorities (MNAs) are ratified at the General Assembly.

Commissions are appointed by the Executive Committee.

Committees may appoint Working Parties to undertake specific areas of work for a specific period of time.
