Sailing Career

Involvement in the Organization of Many International Regattas
- In 1989, I was involved in the planning and preparation of the marina for the 1990 Beijing Asian Games;
- I was part of the team in China's bid for the 2000 and 2008 Olympic Games;
- As a representative of CYA, I was directly involved in the preparation of the Olympic marina and the organization;
- I was devoted to developing a special regatta for our sailors, and China Cup International Regatta which have greatly promoted the communication among Asia-Pacific sailing communities and provided opportunities for amateurs.

Being an International Jury in Many International Sailing Regattas over the past 20 years since my accreditation in 1988
- improved my professionalism and personal capacity,
- established good relationships with other international organizations and friends in the sailing world.

Construction of Sailing Infrastructure in China's Coastal Cities
- Since the successful host of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, China has built 26 advanced sailing centers; dozens of medium and small sized sailing clubs and training bases along China's coast, which serve as a platform for foreign exchange and training and competitive activities.

Support Social Sectors to Participate in Sailing
