Asian Sailing Championship
Mumbai

The 11th Asian Sailing Championship is scheduled to get underway today in Mumbai, India, following on from the successful Optimist Asian Sailing Championships which concluded on Saturday 3 January.
Teams will arrive today, with entry and measurement procedures being completed on 6-7 January. Thursday 8 January will see a practice race, before the 10 race Championship series gets underway from 9-13 January.

189 sailors from 14 nations will contest the 14 events on

2. OK Dinghy
3. 470 (Men)
4. 420 (Girl)
5. 420 (Boy)
6. 420 (Open)
7. Optimist (Girl)
8. Optimist (Boy)
9. Optimist (Team)
10. Laser
11. Laser Radial
12. IMCO (Men-Light)
13. IMCO (Men-Heavy)
14. IMCO Women

All classes other than the boards will race from Pilot Bunder, Colaba, with the boards racing from Chowpatty Beach.
