Fredrik SVENSSON (SWE) is the New World Champion

Europe Class Men's World Championship

The Europe Class Men’s World Championship concluded yesterday. The final race was won by Michael RISOR (DEN) with Arvid CLAESON (SWE) finishing second. Overall Fredrik SVENSSON (SWE) who takes the title on equal points with his countryman Oscar CLAESON.
Svensson and Claeson finished sixth and ninth respectively in Race Ten. Third overall went to Norway’s Christopher GUNDERSEN who claimed fifth place in the final race. The first Spanish qualifier was Manuel JIMÉNEZ in a meritorious fourth place, followed by Jesús ROGEL in seventh and Francese TERRASA in eleventh. Defending champion, Soren JOHNSEN (DEN), finished tenth overall, rounding off his championship with a disappointing 23 place.
