In the boys event Michal GRYGLEWSKI (POL) moved into second place, just one point ahead of 2002 Worlds silver medallist Stjepan CESIC (CRO). Stjepan in fact missed Race 8 due to a problem with his sail but only time will tell if this discard was important. Fourth place is now occupied by reigning champion Joaquin BLANCO (ESP). And Benji BORG of Malta is still in the top 10 despite an OCS!

In the girls event Bettina BONELLI (ITA) registered two 1sts and a 2nd and, with 5 as her present discard, looks well placed. Behind her the next five places remained unchanged. Sailors from the smaller national fleets continue to post encouraging results in individual races such as Ausura MILEVCIUTE (LTU) finishing eighth in race
