Skiff.TV Grand Prix - Leg One
Cannes

A light 4-6 knots with a sea churned by passing power boats greeted competitors for the first leg of the Skiff.TV Grand Prix in Cannes yesterday.
The sea breeze started building at around 12:00 local time and was expected to build to 12 knots throughout the day. After a short postponement in the morning on this busy French holiday, sailors left the beach with high expectations.

3 Races were eventually sailed in the light winds until it eventually faded, never really building as expected. Current leaders are Dalton Bergan and Zack Maxam (USA), remaining consistant in the tricky conditions yesterday.

Cannes is building up to the film festival next week and as busy as the resor is in this build up, the presence of the 49er Grand Prix adds excitement to the bustling atmosphere.
