Over 100 boats from 15 nations are expected at the regatta, among them many former Olympic and World Champions including two time gold medallist Rodney Pattisson (GBR) and 1992 gold medallist Luis Doreste.

The Conrad Gulcher Memorial regatta is the traditional close of season regatta for the flying Dutchman, an Olympic class from 1960 until 1992. Designed in 1951 by Conrad Gulcher, it quickly became well supported, with 400 boats built in the first five years of its inception. The regatta sees a return to what are considered the “native waters” of the class.

Two races are planned each day, with the jubilee celebrations starting on the Friday evening with a reception, and continuing on the Saturday afternoon with a champions and VIP exhibition regatta. The prize giving will be held on Sunday Afternoon.
