Grant Dalton Receives Award
New Zealand Yachtsman of the Year Awards

At a special ceremony on 13 October 2001 in Auckland, New Zealand, Grant Dalton was announced as the New Zealand Yachtsman of the Year in recognition of his achievements in sailing and this year in winning The Race on Club Med.
Grant Dalton is also a nominee for the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Award, for which there are 7 male and 4 female crews vying for the male and female categories. The ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards Presentation will take place on 13 October, Lisbon, Portugal. Tickets are available to attend this prestigious event.
