Australians Dominate At Hobie 16 Worlds
Rod and Kerry Waterhouse
Hobie 16 Masters Champions - Rod and Kerry Waterhouse (AUS)

Hobie 16 World Championships
Weihai, China

What a great way to finish a series, 15 to 20 knots and four races that really tested the stamina of the competitors.
Rod and Kerry Waterhouse from Australia dominated the Masters taking home gold from William and Lucinda Edward of South Africa and Bob Engwirda and Brad Wilson of Australia.

Anthony Duchatel and Evelyn Curtis from Australia also finished strongly after losing their jib in the first race of the day to win the next three races and the series. Harry Handly and Peter Evrard from New Zealand came home second with Bruce Tardrew and Sarah Turnbull from Australia third.

The presentation for the Masters and Grandmasters is just about to kickoff - on the beach in front of the clubhouse. It will also be the welcoming party for the Youths and Women's Series.

The Women and Youth World Championship will take place from 20 to 22 August and the Open Hobie16 Worlds from 23 to 30 August.
