Mumm 30 World Championship
Cagliari

Just one more race completed on the final day of racing yesterday at the Mumm 30 World Championships in Cagliari, Italy.
It was an all Italian affair for Gold, Silver and Bronze. Maurizio Abba (ITA) took the title, clear ahead of fellow country man Andrea Cecchetti and Pierpaolo Cristofi in Bronze.

There was unusually a thick fog across the race course at midday, which finally lifted by 15:00 to allow that last race to be completed in the seven race series.

Results after seven races:

1 ITA Maurizio Abba 39 pts
2 ITA Andrea Cecchetti 62 pts
3 ITA Pierpaolo Cristofori 66 pts
4 GBR Simon Sarsfield 79 pts
5 ITA Antonio Masi 80 pts
6 ITA U Battista 97 pts
7 ITA Luca Falcioni 99 pts
8 IRL Diarmuid Foley 101.5 pts
