Brazil finished top of the pile at the XV Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, with the hosts picking up three gold, two silver and two bronze medals from the nine sailing events on Guanabara Bay. The USA finished second on the medal table, with two golds, a silver and a bronze.

The XII Games of the Small States of Europe, concluded in Monaco last week, with the hosts demonstrating their sailing skills as they picked up seven medals to finish top of the nations table. George ANDREADIS (GRE), ISAF Vice-President, was in Monaco as the ISAF Technical Delegate for the Games.
Singapore Blitz Medals

Singapore dominated the sailing on Doha Bay, winning five golds, three silver and two bronze medals from the 14-class regatta based at the Doha Sailing Club. This is Singapore's best performance at an Asian Games. The forecast light winds prevailed for the majority of the competition and Singapore delivered on their reputation as experienced light wind sailors.
Medals Decided In Cartagena

The Central American and Caribbean Games in Cartagena, Colombia concluded over the weekend with sailing gold medals going to Venezuela, Cuba and Puerto Rico, along with the US Virgin Islands' Cy THOMPSON and Mexico's Tania ELIAS CALLES in the ISAF Grade 3 Laser and Laser Radial events.
