The Dutch crew helmed by Jamin Marten take the Yngling Springtime Championship - the classic Springtime event organised by Fraglia Vela Riva which this year had 30 crews taking part.
With all eight scheduled races completed with medium-strong winds, the enthusiasts of the Yngling class enjoyed four days of great sailing thanks to the generous wind conditions on Trentino Garda.
The places on the podium, which had been clearly defined yesterday, were confirmed today with the Dutch crew of Jamin-Smolders-Berens winning by 9 points over Austrians Mayr-Knittel-Spaengler. Third place goes to the other Dutch crew of Deen-Oost-Van der Zee who today came in an excellent second place in the eighth and final race. Austrians Riha-Skolaut-Hofstaetter also gave a brilliant performance today winning the last race giving them 4th place overall.
The next racing date at Fraglia Vela Riva is 17th May for The Riva Cup. This regatta is open to the 505, Korsar and 14' classes and will have participants from Austria, Germany, Switzerland Great Britain, France, Finland and Denmark.
