Goals
If elected, I would focus on:
Administration:
- Doing the job you would have elected me for: Working effectively and collaboratively in the Executive Committee to implement the goals of Council and the ISAF Strategic Plan in an efficient and businesslike manner.
- Develop the Strategic Plan in the areas necessary to secure sources of income from our core assets and new initiatives and reduce dependency on Olympic funds for the future of ISAF.
- Assist the President and the Executive Committee in providing leadership and guidance where needed for the benefit of Sailing and its Sailors
Communication:
- As a former Olympic sailor, MNA executive and active sailor and IJ, serve as a conduit for communication from MNA's and their Sailors to the Executive for effective decision making.
Sailors:
- Facilitate sailing at the elite level of the Olympics accessible for sailors worldwide within the reality of disparity of funding.
- Ensure that the rest of our competitive sailors also have an outlet for their love of the sport through accessible competition such as Regional Games and class championships.
- Preserve and enhance the quality of our core assets - RRS, Race Officers and the attendant programs, ISAF Committees - and strive to make these assets accessible to the MNA's throughout the world.
