Goals

I would be pleased and honoured to be a member of the team to lead ISAF forward over the next four years and if elected as a Vice President I would work with 100% enthusiasm and commitment to:-

• Use my sailing and administration experience to work for the benefit of the sport of sailing worldwide.
• Work to ensure that ISAF supports everyone promoting and organizing sailing from the small MNA's run by volunteers on a shoestring budget to the Olympic medal winning MNA's with full time staff, funding and resources.
• Work to ensure that the needs of the smaller and less developed sailing nations are understood and supported and that these MNA's become a more integral part of ISAF.
• Use my past experience of work with the Women's Committee and Women's Forum to continue to work towards gender equality in the participation and administration of our sport.
• Support the implementation of the ISAF Strategic Plan policies and, in particular, continue to work on the promotion of sailing as an environmentally friendly sport and the protection of the Marine environment.
• Work to move sailing forward in a world with changing demands from media, sponsors and stakeholders and competition from other sports and activities.
• Be open to review and support innovative ideas, technologies and disciplines to improve participation in our sport, particularly for youth sailors.
• Work to ensure that ISAF continues to support and meet the needs of all constituents from a solid financial basis.
• Continue to be an active racing sailor.
