Team in the context of the ISAF Offshore Team Racing Rules refers to individual fleets in which a national or regional team enters a boat into each fleet the combined results is then used to determine the winner. Classes used for racing so far used in the competition so far have been the Farr 40, Swan 45, TP52 and IMS Handicap Rule within defined limit’s. The event has been sponsored since it’s conception by Rolex and has been kindly run by the YCCS under the branding of the Sardinia Rolex Cup.
