The Awards Presentation and Dinner was hosted by renowned Italian windsurfer Alessandra SENSINI (ITA). The evening was attended by over 400 people and was a celebration of the achievements of all of the nominees.

Ellen MACARTHUR (GBR) was named as the female winner and Fernando ECHAVARRI and Antón PAZ (ESP) (right) received the male award from His Majesty King Constantine and Claudio Mariani from Rolex Singapore.
