The 2009 ISAF Conference will take place at the Paradise Hotel, Busan, Korea from 5 November to 15 November

Visas

You will need to ensure that you have a valid passport (6 months after entry into Korea) and entry visa if required.  ISAF can provide a letter of invitation to assist with visa applications and requests should be sent to secretariat@isaf.co.uk.

Transport from Gimhae Airport
There is a limousine bus service (no 15)  which runs every 20 minutes from Gimhae Airport and stops at the Paradise Hotel. Cost KRW 6,000 KRW.  See link below:

A Taxi from the airport to the Paradise Hotel will cost approximately 35,000 KRW.

About Busan

Sailing Ties

The city has a long association with sailing. During the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, Busan hosted the Olympic Sailing Competition. The city also hosted the 2005 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship.

Other major events hosted by Busan include the 2002 Asian Games, APEC 2005 Korea and matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. The city has officially announced its bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympics Games.
