The competitors and organizers of the 2017 America's Cup are planning to implement a series of rule changes to dramatically reduce team operational costs, primarily by racing in a smaller boat.
The 2009 ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship will be hosted by the Lysekil Yacht Club Gullmar. The Worlds will take place in Lysekil, Sweden from 27 July-1 August. Twelve crews of six will contest the title in DS 37 yachts.
The current holder of the ISAF Women's Match Racing World Championship Trophy is Claire LEROY of France. She won the title in Auckland, New Zealand in April 2008.
