Seven more matches were completed yesterday at the ISAF Grade 2 Heat 2005 where six America's Cup teams are competing in Trieste, Italy.
The first match of the day was the first of the all Italian battles as +39 Challenge skippered by Iain PERCY (GBR) took on Mascalzone Latine - Capitalia Team skippered by Jes GRAM-HANSEN (DEN). It was +39 who made the best of it and took the first victory of the day.

Next up were the South African Shosholoza team agains Luna Rossa 1. This was to the first of two victories yesterday for James SPITHILL (AUS) and the Luna Rossa 1 team as they followed up their defeat of Shosoloza with victory against Luna Rossa 2. Chris LAW skipper of Shosholoza did not have a good day, their defeat by Luna Rossa 1 was quickly followed up by defeat by Luna Rossa 2 skippered by Francesco DE ANGELIS (ITA) and also by Alinghi later in the day.

Luna Rossa 1 made a good start to their day with two victories but they could not maintain this form throughout the day, losing to Mascalzone Latino and +39 Challenge before the day was out.
