U.S. Junior Women's Double-Handed Championship 2005

Registration is now open for the 2005 U.S. Junior Women's Double-Handed Championship for the Ida Lewis Trophy. The event, celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, will be held at Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, Rhode Island, USA from 5-11 July.
Registration and boat inspection will take place on 5 July with the next two days given over to a racing clinic. Racing for the Championship title will then take place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 8-10 July, with the Monday 11 July the departure day.
Sponsored by Vanguard Sailboats and raced in Club 420s, this Championship is an open event for women sailors between 13 and 18 years old, no pre-qualification is required.
Last year the event was won by Roberta STEELE and Meredith NORDHEM. Charters will be awarded to those who register by 1 May. Sailors can register at the Event Website.
